TVS Infrastructure Trust has officially inaugurated the expanded phase of its flagship Tarkeshwar Industrial & Logistics Park in Visakhapatnam, marking a major boost to Andhra Pradesh’s industrial and logistics infrastructure. The upgraded facility, launched on 11 November 2025, spans 17 acres at Gurrampalem and involves an investment of ₹250 crore. It is expected to generate over 1,000 new jobs.
Strategic Location With Port Connectivity
The built-to-suit industrial park sits along the Anakapalle–Anandapuram Expressway (NH-16), offering seamless access to Visakhapatnam Port. This connectivity positions it as a significant hub for multimodal logistics in the region.
The land for the project was allotted by the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC), which facilitated land acquisition and expedited key approvals. TVS Industrial and Logistics Parks (TVS ILP), India’s leading developer of Grade A warehousing, is managing the project.
Chief Minister Highlights Entrepreneurship Vision
While virtually inaugurating the facility during an event organised at APIIC Industrial Park in Peda Gantyada, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasised the state’s long-term growth framework under the mission — “One Family, One Entrepreneur.”
The initiative aims to cultivate at least one entrepreneur in every household across the state, reinforcing Andhra Pradesh’s push for industrial expansion.
TVS ILP Calls Vizag a Key Industrial Growth Engine
Dr. Ramnath Subramaniam, Joint Managing Director of TVS ILP, underlined the strategic advantages of the region:
“Andhra Pradesh’s strategic location and growing industrial ecosystem make it one of the most attractive destinations for infrastructure-led investments. Visakhapatnam, with its multi-modal connectivity and proximity to major manufacturing clusters, plays a pivotal role in driving this growth.
The Vizag facility is designed to meet the evolving needs of modern occupiers—offering scalable, sustainable and compliant infrastructure that supports sectors such as automotive, FMCG, manufacturing and e-commerce.”
