The Mumbai Housing and Area Development Board (MHADA’s Mumbai Board) has announced that it will invite online e-tenders from registered bidders starting December 12, 2025 for the allotment of 16 amenity plots across key MHADA colonies in the city.

The amenity plots are spread across Malad-Malvani, Unnat Nagar–Goregaon, Charkop–Kandivali, Tagore Nagar–Vikhroli, Kannamwar Nagar–Vikhroli, Gorai, Akurli, Vinoba Bhave Nagar–Kurla, and Mulund (East).

What the Plots Are Reserved For

The plots have been earmarked for community-centric and public-utility infrastructure. The allocation includes:

  • 6 plots in Malad-Malvani reserved for schools, colleges, hospitals, and playgrounds
  • 1 plot in Unnat Nagar, Goregaon (W) reserved for a school
  • 2 plots in Charkop–Kandivali reserved for a retail market and amenity use
  • 1 plot in Vinoba Bhave Nagar, Kurla reserved for a Social Welfare Centre
  • 1 plot in Mulund (East) reserved for shopping
  • 1 plot in Kannamwar Nagar, Vikhroli reserved for a multipurpose community centre
  • 2 plots in Tagore Nagar, Vikhroli — one for residential use and one for a primary and secondary school
  • 2 plots each in Gorai and Akurli designated as amenity plots

The plot sizes vary from 32 sq. metres to 7,160 sq. metres, catering to a diverse range of public-service needs.

  • Pre-bid meeting: 2 January 2026, 3:30 PM
  • Last date to download tender documents: 16 January 2026, 3:30 PM
  • Last date for online submission: 16 January 2026, 5:30 PM
  • Opening of technical bids: 20 January 2026, 3:30 PM
    Venue: Room No. 240, First Floor, Gruhnirman Bhavan, Kalanagar, Bandra (East)
  • Opening of financial bids: To be announced separately to eligible bidders

The tender documents will be available on the MahaTender portal. MHADA has clarified that the entire process will remain fully online, adhering to transparency and ease of participation.

The Chief Officer of MHADA’s Mumbai Board reserves full authority to accept or reject any bid without assigning reasons.
