Relaxations like inter-district movement of persons within the area of Municipal Corporations under MMR has been allowed. Exam paper evaluation and work on declaration of results also allowed.

The state government of Maharashtra announced further relaxations under the Mission Begin Again on Thursday.

There was an amendment to the order, which was issued on Sunday May 31, where phase wise relaxations were allowed in the state after the lockdown was extended till June 30.

The Chief Minister of Maharashtra’s official twitter handle announced the amendments to the original order.

As per the amendment issued, there’s a major relaxation announced for movement of people in MMR region.

Inter-district movement of people within the areas of Municipal Corporations under the MMR region is allowed without any restrictions. The movement of migrant workers, pilgrim, tourists and others will continue to be regulated ss per SOPs.

The earlier order stated that, inter-state and inter-district movement of persons shall continue to be regulated.

The other major relaxation is that all shops on one side of the road will open for the full working hours on one day, while all the shops of other side of the road will open next day.

This clause was added by the amendment. Shops will open from Friday, June 5, 2020.

Another major relaxation is printing and distribution of newspapers including home delivery is allowed.

Thought this shall be with the knowledge of receiver and for the delivery of newspaper, personnel shall wear mask and use hand sanitizer and maintain social distancing. This will be with effect from June 7, 2020.

The amendment also allows private offices to now operate with 10 people or 10% strength whichever is more. Earlier it was only 10% strength.

For education institutions there are several relaxations. The office and staff of educational institutions can operate only for non-teaching purposes including development of e-content. evaluation of answer sheets and declaration of results.

This was added in the amendment, earlier order containedno such clause existed.

While outdoor physical activities are allowed no equipment, even garden equipment or that of open air gym equipments, or play areas equipment like swings, or bars etc will be allowed to operate.
