Raj Kundra who has been in news for various reasons including his stay behind the bars, is once again making headlines. This time for transferring five flats costing Rs 38.5 Crore to his wife Shilpa Shetty.

Raj Kundra alias Ripu Sudan Kundra is in news regarding a case related to pornography. However, here we are not talking about his cases, but a real estate transaction concerning him and his wife Shilpa Shetty.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra got transferred five flats worth Rs 38.5 crore from her husband Ripu Sudan Kundra alias Raj Kundra in Juhu.

According to documents accessed by SquareFeatIndia, the five flats are located in the building named Ocean View in Juhu. The flats are 101, 102, 103, 104 and 105. Along with the apartments Shilpa Shetty got transferred on her name the entire stilt car parking.

The total area mentioned in the registration documents is 557.12 square meters, which translates into 5,996.84 square feet.

Documents reveal that Ripu Sudan Kundra aged 46 transferred the five flats to Shilpa Shetty Kundra aged 46, on January 24, 2022. The documentation regarding the transfer was carried out on January 21, 2022.

A stamp duty of Rs 1.92 crore was paid for the transfer of the property, according to documents, the ready reckoner market rate of the property stands at Rs 25.33 crore, which is almost Rs 13 crore less than at which Shilpa got it transferred from her husband Raj Kundra.

The documents also reveal that the address of both Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty are the same premises which now has been transferred by the husband to the wife for a consideration of Rs 38.5 crore.

Shilpa made her debut in the hindi film Baazigar with Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan as her costars. She currently is part of the talent show on Sony TV. She is mostly seen these days as a judge of several talent shows.
