It is normally said that real estate is the best bet, if one is into long form of investment. No wonder with many following this mantra, there’s every other day big ticket deals that’s taking place.

A day after we broke the story of two flats being sold on Worli worth ₹151 crore, we are back with yet another big ticket deal.

This deal took place in Juhu on September 7, 2022, where the buyer paid ₹332 crore for a piece of land located in Juhu.

According to documents provided by Indextap.com the buyer is Agarwal Holding Pvt. Ltd. whereas the sellers are Pawan Kumar Shivling Prabhu.

The total area involved in the transaction is 6,988 sq mt, which roughly translates into 74,589 sq ft.

Just to register this transaction a stamp duty of ₹19.96 crore was paid, again a big amount. In this amount one can easily get a huge seafaring apartment in any of the upmarket area.

Only last year the buyers were involved in yet another big ticket deal that took place in Juhu. Author Siddharth Dhanvant Shanghvi sold a family bungalow located in Juhu area for ₹84.75 crore.

Shanghvi, who has authored The Lost Flamingoes of Bombay and The Last Song of Dusk, sold the 9,795 sq ft bungalow to Agarwal Holding Pvt Ltd, a business firm.

“The Approx. 75,000 sqft plot sale deal seems to be transaction for Housing redevelopment project. We have witnessed dozens of housing plot sales in suburbs of Bandra, Khar, Santacruz, Vile Parle and Juhu after the new UDCR. We strongly believe that housing redevelopment transactions will increase in the next few years in these prime suburbs as old properties give way to new development. Vacant land is limited in these prime suburbs of Mumbai; old properties have comsumed far less FSI making it lucrative for developers to redevelop in these zones,” said Abhishek Kiran Gupta, CEO & Co-founder, Indextap.com
