MHADA’s Oshiwara Plot Goes to Medanta Hospital of Global Health for Rs 125 Crore.

Bids for the e-auction of plots reserved for one hospital and four educational purposes in various colonies of Mumbai, conducted by MHADA’s Mumbai Board, have been opened. The Medanta Hospital of Global Health Ltd. won the plot with a bid of Rs. 125 crore.

Medanta Hospital is one of the premier hospitals in India, renowned for providing world-class comprehensive and affordable healthcare services. Through MHADA, the services of Medanta Hospital will soon be available to Mumbaikars.

The Mumbai Board conducted the bid-opening process for five plots today. Among these, a plot of 8,850.25 square meters reserved for a hospital in Oshiwara was priced at Rs. 67.49 crores by the board. Global Health Ltd.’s Medanta Hospital won this plot with the highest bid of Rs. 125 crores.

Additionally, the plot of 1,989.72 square meters in Malad Malvani reserved for educational facilities was acquired by Pragat Shikshan Sanstha with the highest bid of Rs. 11 crores. Similarly, the plot of 2,019.49 square meters in Tagore Nagar, Hariyali reserved for educational facilities was won with a bid of Rs. 12.21 crores. The board had set base prices of Rs. 10.66 crores and Rs. 11.81 crores for these educational facility plots respectively.

Furthermore, the plot of 3,010.23 square meters in Kannamwar Nagar, Vikhroli, reserved for a women’s polytechnic institution, was acquired by Navchetana Charitable Trust with a bid of Rs. 18.05 crore. MHADA had set a base price of Rs. 17.75 crores for this plot. Additionally, the plot of 3,360.15 square meters in Tagore Nagar, Vikhroli, reserved for educational purposes was awarded to Radhikabai Meghe Women’s Education Institute with a bid of Rs. 26 crores, whereas the board had set a base price of Rs. 21.52 crores.
