Updates and Changes:

In a notable move, MHADA has reduced the prices for 370 of the homes included in this lottery. This adjustment aims to make the homes more accessible and affordable for a wider range of applicants. Additionally, the housing authority has extended the application deadlines to accommodate more participants, ensuring a fair chance for all interested parties.

The extension of the application period provides potential homeowners with ample time to prepare and submit their applications, while the price reduction is expected to boost participation and provide relief to prospective buyers facing high real estate costs.

Application Process:

Interested individuals can begin their applications and make payments starting August 9, 2024. The online and RTGS/NEFT payment options will be available until September 19, 2024. Applicants should ensure they complete their submissions by the deadline to be considered for the lottery.

Following the closure of applications, MHADA will publish draft applications on September 27, 2024, with the final list of applications to be made available on October 3, 2024. The lottery draw is scheduled for October 8, 2024, where successful applicants will be announced. Refunds for unsuccessful applications will commence on October 9, 2024.
