In a key leadership development in the Indian real estate sector, Vikas Jain, CEO of Labdhi Lifestyle, has been unanimously appointed as the President of NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen — the youth-focused vertical of the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), Maharashtra. Jain succeeds Ridham Gada, who now takes on the role of Vice-Chairman of NextGen.

Jain’s appointment comes at a time when India’s real estate sector is projected to scale to US$1 trillion by 2030, driven by increased urbanization, policy reforms, and investments. A first-generation developer with a solid track record of reviving financially stressed projects, Jain is known as a turnaround specialist in the industry.

“I am honored to lead NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen,” said Jain. “This platform provides an incredible opportunity to empower the next generation of real estate leaders while addressing some of the industry’s most pressing challenges.”

Finance as the Central Theme

Jain announced that “Finance” would be the central theme for the 2025–26 term, with an emphasis on building financial literacy, exploring new capital structures, and improving access to public and private funding. “The sector needs to build a credible and transparent ecosystem to attract consistent capital inflows,” he noted.

Alongside financial innovation, Jain’s presidency will also focus on enhancing RERA compliance, adopting new technologies, and professionalizing real estate management. His goal is to embed a culture of innovation, governance, and customer-centricity across the sector.

“As next-generation leaders, our approach must be future-ready and multidimensional,” he added. “We must empower developers not just as builders, but as responsible, forward-thinking entrepreneurs.”

Industry Leaders Endorse the Appointment

Prashant Sharma, President of NAREDCO Maharashtra, welcomed Jain’s appointment, stating, “Vikas Jain’s entrepreneurial acumen, financial expertise, and understanding of real estate dynamics make him the ideal leader for NextGen. His tenure will be pivotal in nurturing young professionals and making the sector more resilient and transparent.”

Outgoing President and new Vice-Chairman Ridham Gada echoed this sentiment: “Vikas brings vision, vigor, and the right focus at a crucial time. With project financing as the central agenda, his leadership will catalyze transformative progress for both developers and homebuyers.”

Vision for NextGen

As CEO of Labdhi Lifestyle, Jain has established a reputable brand in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), known for timely project delivery and quality construction. His leadership is widely recognized for its finance-first, strategic approach, aligning perfectly with NextGen’s new direction.

Under Jain’s stewardship, NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen aims to become a dynamic platform for collaboration, innovation, and reform — fostering young talent and pushing the boundaries of professionalism and sustainability in the Indian real estate industry.
