Mumbai, 01 October 2025: A computerized lottery draw was successfully conducted for the allotment of 1,323 residential tenements and 18 plots under the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Housing and Area Development Board, along with 101 tenements under the Nashik Board. The lottery was drawn by Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar District Collector Dilip Swami at the District Planning Committee Hall in the Collector’s Office.

The event witnessed the presence of MHADA Deputy Chief Executive Officer Anil Wankhede, Chief Engineer Dhirajkumar Pandirkar (via video conferencing), Deputy Commissioner from the Divisional Commissioner’s Office Anant Gawhane, District Information & Public Relations Officer Vidyadhar Shelke, Chief Officer of the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Board Dattatray Navale, and members of the High-Level Lottery Monitoring Committee including S. G. Shetye.

Details of the Lottery

  • Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Board:
    • 1,148 tenements under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban)
    • 154 tenements under MHADA Housing Scheme
    • 21 tenements under 20% Inclusive Scheme
    • 18 plots
  • Nashik Board:
    • 97 tenements under 20% Inclusive Scheme
    • 4 tenements under MHADA Housing Scheme

In total, the Sambhajinagar Board received 7,881 applications for 1,341 houses, while the Nashik Board received 499 applications for 101 houses.

Statements from Officials

District Collector Dilip Swami highlighted MHADA’s commitment to constructing quality and affordable homes using modern technologies. He noted that transparency in the computerized lottery system and trust in construction quality have strengthened public confidence in MHADA.

Deputy CEO Anil Wankhede informed that MHADA has introduced the IHLMS 2.0 (Integrated Housing Lottery Management System), enabling a fully online process from application to possession. This system ensures transparency, eliminates human intervention, and speeds up document verification.

Chief Officer Dattatray Navale emphasized MHADA’s mission of providing affordable housing to common citizens. He also announced that construction of around 6,000 new homes by the Sambhajinagar Board will commence soon to further address housing needs.
