Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has sold his apartment in Borivali East, Mumbai, for Rs. 4.25 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards on the website of the Inspector General of Registration (IGR), Maharashtra. The transaction was officially registered in January 2025.

As per the IGR documents reviewed, the apartment boasts a carpet area of 1073 sq. ft. (99.71 sq. m) and includes two car parking spaces. The transaction involved a stamp duty payment of Rs. 25.5 lakh and registration charges of Rs. 30,000.

Interestingly, Akshay Kumar had purchased the apartment in November 2017 for Rs. 2.38 crore. Selling it for Rs. 4.25 crore represents a 78% appreciation in value over seven years.
