Mumbai, February 2025: Veteran Bollywood actress Amrita Singh has purchased a luxury apartment in Juhu, Mumbai, for ₹18 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards on the website of the Inspector General of Registration (IGR). The deal was officially registered in February 2025.

Juhu, one of Mumbai’s most sought-after residential areas, is home to several Bollywood celebrities and is known for its scenic coastline, high-end restaurants, and strategic connectivity. The locality provides easy access to the Western Express Highway, Mumbai Metro, and the international airport. Prominent film personalities like Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, and Shakti Kapoor also own properties in the area.

Singh’s newly acquired property is located in the Peninsula building within Nutan Laxmi Cooperative Housing Society Limited, a ready-to-move-in residential project. The apartment spans a built-up area of 252.04 square meters (approximately 2,712.9 square feet) and includes three car parking spaces. The transaction involved a stamp duty payment of Rs. 90 lakh and a registration charge of Rs. 30,000.

Amrita Singh rose to fame in the 1980s with her debut film Betaab (1983), which became a major hit. She went on to deliver several acclaimed performances in films like Mard, Naam, Chameli Ki Shaadi, and Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. After a brief hiatus, Singh made a successful comeback with roles in Kalyug and Shootout at Lokhandwala, reaffirming her versatility. Her role in Aaina won her the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress, and she later received praise for her performance in 2 States.

Her latest property investment highlights the continued demand for luxury real estate among Bollywood celebrities in Mumbai’s prime locations.
