A property located on Carmichael Road was sold in January. The property an apartment located on the third floor of the building was sold for ₹1.6 lakh per sq ft.

January saw a big ticket deal taking place in South Mumbai’s Carmichael Road.

According to documents accessed by Squarefeatindia provided by Indextap.com a real estate advisory firm, the deal was signed on January 20.

The details of the property includes, a Residential Premises on Level A3, on 3rd Floor, Morena House, Carmichael Road.

The total carpet area of the apartment is 5,211 sq ft and the deal was signed for ₹83.37 crore. When calculated it comes to ₹1.6 lakh per sq ft on the carpet area

A stamp duty of ₹5 crore was paid for the registration of the sale document of the apartment.

The seller is Windsor Residency Pvt Ltd while the buyer is Jai Mahtani.

The new owner will also have an access to four car parks in the building.

This will be the most expensive realty deal of this year till now, where someone has paid a whopping ₹1.6 lakh per sq ft for an apartment.
