CIDCO has filed a complaint against the owner and driver of a dumper caught illegally dumping debris on CIDCO land. The incident occurred on September 3, 2024, at the Vashi Toll Naka, where the dumper was intercepted by CIDCO’s vigilance team.

Under the leadership of Chief Vigilance Officer Mr. Suresh Mengde, CIDCO has intensified its crackdown on illegal dumping of debris, soil, and waste on vacant plots in Navi Mumbai. The vigilance department, alongside security, engineering, and police units, conducted the operation. Upon interrogation, the dumper driver admitted to transporting debris for illegal dumping. A case has been registered against the dumper owner and driver at the Vashi police station under Indian Penal Code Sections 271, 329(3), 3(5), and 62.

CIDCO has urged the public to report any instances of illegal dumping on CIDCO land through their website, www.cidco.maharashtra.gov.in, or to the nearest police station.

Mumbai Sees Surge in Property Registrations and Stamp Duty Revenue in January 2025
