CIDCO’s newly launched First-Come-First-Serve (FCFS) Housing Scheme, offering 4,508 affordable homes, has received an overwhelming response from citizens across Navi Mumbai and surrounding regions. As per CIDCO, a total of 14,796 applicants have already initiated the online registration process and submitted their documents.

The scheme is being hailed as one of CIDCO’s most accessible housing offers, especially because it is the first time CIDCO has introduced the FCFS model, allowing eligible citizens to directly select and book a flat after completing verification.

Registration Open Until December 21, 2025

CIDCO has announced that the entire application and document submission window will remain open until December 21, 2025.
Given the current rate of registrations, the authority expects many more home seekers to apply in the coming weeks.

How the FCFS Housing Scheme Works

Unlike lottery-based systems, this scheme follows a transparent approach:

1️⃣ Online Registration

Applicants must fill out an online form and upload required documents.

2️⃣ Document Verification

CIDCO will scrutinize the submitted documents to determine eligibility.

3️⃣ Final Registration for Qualified Applicants

Eligible applicants will be officially registered for the scheme.

4️⃣ Online Home Selection Begins December 28, 2025

From December 28, 2025, applicants who clear verification will be able to log in and select the flat of their choice directly on a first-come-first-serve basis.
