There has been a lot of news amongst common public about CIDCO launching a new housing scheme.

Several news outlet claimed that the housing scheme will be launched on Gudi Padwa.

However, CIDCO came out with a statement on this entire issue.

CIDCO has come out with an appeal asking citizens to be cautious.

The statement has asked citizens not to believe in rumours about launching of new housing scheme on the occasion of Gudi Padwa.

CIDCO has appealed to the citizens not to believe in news published in some newspapers which states that CIDCO will launch a new housing scheme on the occasion of Gudi Padwa. CIDCO has asked the citizens to trust information published by the Corporation through its official medium only.

CIDCO has recently launched a housing scheme on 26th January 2022 and through it has made available 5,730 tenements in Taloja node, one of the fastest developing node of Navi Mumbai. The node has excellent connectivity through the Mumbai- Pune Expressway, Railways, and CIDCO’s Navi Mumbai Metro project. Out of the 5,730 houses released under the scheme, 1,524 houses are available under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for the Economically Weaker Sections of the society.

The remaining 4,206 houses are for the general category. Online applications for the scheme will be accepted online till February 24, 2022. The scheme has received an overwhelming response and up to now 15,000 applications have received. CIDCO is appealing to all the citizens, to grab this golden opportunity and participate in ongoing housing scheme.

CIDCO provides affordable housing to the common man through its various housing schemes. Information about these housing schemes is published by the Corporation through various mediums, so that it reaches the maximum number of people.

CIDCO urges citizens to rely only on the information provided by CIDCO’s press releases, CIDCO’s official website, Facebook page, YouTube channel, and Twitter handle regarding housing schemes and draws.

Similarly, CIDCO will be announcing new scheme for sale of its commercial shops very soon.
