The news for which everyone was eagerly waiting for is finally here, dates for MHADA lottery has been announced. MHADA will be holding lottery for affordable housing soon.

Aurangabad Housing and Regional Development Board of MHADA has launched online application registration for the sale of 849 flats and 87 plots constructed in Aurangabad, Latur, Jalna, Parbhani, Nanded, Hingoli, Osmanabad under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) and MHADA Housing Scheme.

The online application for the lottery shall be accepted from February 9, 2023 from 12 noon and the last date for online application is March 10, 2023 till 11.59 pm.

MHADA Housing Lottery System IHLMS 2.0 under the computer app and on the website https://housing.mhada.gov.in, though the application registration will continue for an unlimited period, but after the above mentioned deadline, the link to participate in the lottery will be deactivated from the website and app. All the procedures like registration and submission of application through app and website for draw are free of charge.

Acceptance of online deposit amount for this lottery will start from February 9, 2023 from 12 noon and payment of online deposit amount will be possible till 11.59 pm on March 11, 2023. Also applicants can pay the deposit amount through RTGS / NEFT till the office hours of the concerned bank on March 13, 2023.

Thus, only the applicants who fulfill all the documents will be qualified through this system and the final list of eligible applications for lottery will be made on the official website of MHADA https://housing.mhada.gov.in on March 18, 2023 at 6.00 pm.

On March 22, 2023, the computerized lottery of the eligible applicants will be announced at Marathwada Revenue Training Prabodhini, Aurangabad at 11.00 am and the applicants will receive the result of the draw immediately on their mobiles through SMS, through e-mail, on the app and on the website.

Aurangabad board is the second board of MHADA to use the new computer application MHADA Housing Lottery System IHLMS 2.0 (Integrated Housing Lottery Management system) developed by MHADA. As per the new process the applicant who fulfills all the documents during the registration will be the permanent eligible applicant in the computerized draw of various boards of MHADA.

The new mandate will be great in terms of convenience for citizens as applicants can participate in the lottery process from home or anywhere. Facilities like registration, document uploading and online payment will be easily available through this app. Applicants can download the MHADA Housing Lottery System IHLMS 2.0 computerized manual to participate in the lottery on their mobiles with the help of both Android or iOS operating systems.

For the convenience of the applicants, the application registration process has been made available on the official website of MHADA at https://housing.mhada.gov.in. Also the link to download the app is also provided here. Guidance brochures, videos, help files and a help site have been made available on the website to inform the applicants about the new computer system.

The most important phase of the Computerized Lottery System is that the successful applicants will receive the provisional allotment letter of their flat within next two days in the online application.

Out of 849 flats under various housing schemes announced by Aurangabad Housing and Regional Development Board, 605 flats are under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).

Under MHADA housing scheme, 30 flats and 08 plots have been made available for economically weaker section, 37 flats and 28 plots for low income group, 102 flats and 49 plots for middle income group, 3 flats for high income group. All income groups have 74 flats under this group and the income limit has been relaxed for this group.

Applicants who want to participate in the draw are requested that the new computerized draw system is completely online and transparent and there is no scope for human intervention in any way. Moreover, the board has not appointed any representative, consultant and property agent for the sale of these flats. Therefore, the applicant should not succumb to the temptations of any third party / broker / intermediary person. Also Aurangabad Board or MHADA will not be responsible for such kind of misbehavior or fraud.
