Veteran banker Romesh Sobti made headlines in 2020 for his real estate purchase during the lockdown. Romesh Sobti along with his wife Anita had bought two luxurious apartments in Worli.

These two apartments were located on the 39th and the 40th floors of the building named Three Sixty West, Worli. Last month Romesh Sobti sold one of the apartments.

lets first talk about the two apartments that he had bought way back in June 2020. SquareFeatIndia had reported both the deals even then.

In July 2020, the flats were registered on the names of Romesh Sobti and his wife Anita Sobti. The flats were sold by the developers which includes Oberoi Realty too. The 39th floor flat was sold for Rs 38.15 crore, the area measures 583.53 sq mt. The ready reckoner rate of this flat stands at Rs 34.44 crore. The 40th floor flat was also sold for Rs 38.15 crore, the area of this flat is 561.96 sq mt. The ready reckoner rate for this apartment is Rs 33.19 crore.

Romesh Sobti had paid Rs 4.56 crore as stamp duty for the registration of the flats in June 2020. He along with the flats had also got six car parks in the building.

Now Romesh Sobti, along with his wife has sold the apartment located on the 40th floor of the building. According to registration papers accessed by SquareFeatIndia the documentation regarding the sale was carried out on January 31, 2022, while the registration process was completed on February 22, 2022.

The apartment has been sold for Rs 41.32 crore, whereas the ready reckoner rate of the flat stood at Rs 34.75 crore and a stamp duty of Rs 2.06 crore was paid for the registration of the deal. The new buyer is K Madhavan a resident of Bandra’s Pali Hill area.

The new owner will also have access to three car parking in the building.
