<p>Listed Mumbai-based developer <strong>Arkade Developers Limited</strong> has announced that it has entered into a binding agreement to acquire <strong>Filmistan Pvt Ltd</strong> in a transaction valued at <strong>₹183 crore</strong>. The acquisition paves the way for transforming the iconic <strong>Filmistan Studios</strong>—a 4-acre land parcel situated on SV Road, Goregaon West—into a landmark luxury residential development.</p>



<p>The company plans to launch the project in&nbsp;<strong>calendar year 2026</strong>, featuring&nbsp;<strong>two striking 50-storey towers</strong>&nbsp;offering spacious&nbsp;<strong>3, 4, and 5 BHK residences</strong>&nbsp;as well as exclusive penthouses. According to Arkade, the project has a&nbsp;<strong>projected Gross Development Value (GDV) of ₹3,000 crore</strong>, positioning it among Western Mumbai’s most premium housing addresses.</p>

<p>The acquisition reflects Arkade’s strategy of expanding its footprint across Mumbai’s western suburbs, with additional project launches planned in early 2026.</p>

<p>Goregaon has evolved rapidly into one of Mumbai’s most strategically positioned residential corridors. Its excellent connectivity—including proximity to the&nbsp;<strong>Western Express Highway</strong>, major metro lines, and arterial roads—offers seamless access to commercial hubs such as&nbsp;<strong>Mindspace Malad, Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), Andheri, and Goregaon’s own business districts</strong>.</p>



<p>Beyond connectivity, Goregaon boasts robust social infrastructure: reputed schools, hospitals, shopping malls, entertainment centres, and abundant green spaces such as&nbsp;<strong>Aarey Forest</strong>. Local real estate brokers estimate current per-square-foot prices in&nbsp;<strong>Goregaon West</strong>&nbsp;range between&nbsp;<strong>₹30,000 and ₹40,000</strong>, depending on factors like project amenities, floor height, and developer track record.</p>
