<p>In a major step towards building a holistic urban ecosystem, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority has allotted prime land parcels in Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) for the development of world-class healthcare and education facilities. The combined investment for these projects is estimated to exceed <strong>₹580 crore</strong>.</p>



<p>The allotment letters were handed over by Eknath Shinde, in the presence of senior officials including Metropolitan Commissioner Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>1. Jupiter Lifeline Hospitals – Multi-Speciality Hospital</strong></h3>



<p>Jupiter Lifeline Hospitals has been allotted the <strong>SF-5 plot</strong> in BKC’s G-Text Block.</p>

<li>Plot Area: 10,026 sq. m.</li>



<li>Built-up Area: 20,052 sq. m.</li>



<li>Project Cost: ~₹354 crore</li>



<li>Development: State-of-the-art multi-speciality hospital</li>

<p>This project aims to significantly enhance access to advanced healthcare services in Mumbai’s key business district.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>2. D. Y. Patil Group – Educational Hub</strong></h3>



<p>D. Y. Patil University has secured the <strong>SF-6 plot</strong>.</p>

<li>Built-up Area: 10,235 sq. m.</li>



<li>Project Cost: ~₹225 crore</li>

<p>The land allotments were completed through a <strong>transparent e-tendering process</strong>, ensuring fair participation and compliance with regulatory norms. The move aligns with MMRDA’s broader vision of <strong>public-private partnerships (PPP)</strong> to improve city infrastructure.</p>
