Revised schedule announced; computerized draw now on December 11, 2025

The Pune Housing and Area Development Board — a regional unit of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) — has extended the deadline for submission of applications for its ongoing housing lottery.
Applicants can now submit their online applications until 11:59 p.m. on November 20, 2025, while the computerized draw will be held on December 11, 2025, at 12:00 noon.

Lottery draw: December 11, 2025, at 12:00 noon

299 flats under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) — also on a First Come, First Served basis

864 flats under the 15% Inclusive Housing Scheme within the PMRDA region

3,222 flats under the 20% Inclusive Housing Scheme within Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, and PMRDA limits

Rahul Sakore, Chief Officer of the Pune Board, stated that the decision to extend the deadline followed “consistent requests from citizens seeking more time for documentation and payment completion.”

He urged applicants to apply only through MHADA’s official portals —
https://lottery.mhada.gov.in
https://bookmyhome.mhada.gov.in

An information booklet guiding applicants on registration and payment procedures is available on MHADA’s official website:
https://housing.mhada.gov.in.

Applicants can also reach the MHADA helpline at 022-69468100 for support.

Sakore emphasized that MHADA has not appointed any agents, consultants, or property brokers for the sale or distribution of flats. Any individual or private agency claiming to represent MHADA should be avoided. “Engaging with unauthorized persons will be entirely at the applicant’s own risk,” he warned.

The extension provides a valuable window for thousands of prospective homebuyers, especially first-time applicants, to finalize their paperwork and payments. With strong interest in Pune’s affordable and inclusive housing segment, the revised schedule ensures wider participation ahead of the computerized draw in December.

The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) conducted its 13th Lokshahi Din (Democracy Day) at Grihanirman Bhavan, Bandra (East), where 15 applications from citizens were heard. His family was earlier shifted to a transit camp in Vikhroli after vacating a cess building in Kamathipura in 1976. His application for permanent inclusion on the master list, filed in 2010, was cleared, and he was given an eligibility confirmation letter during the Lokshahi Din.

Kamlesh Samdani applied for possession of two rooms in Girgaon buildings. Officials have been instructed to hold a joint meeting with the Mumbai Building Repair and Reconstruction Board and developers.

Subhash Chapiya raised the issue of pending audit work for Angarki Cooperative Housing Society, Borivali. Directions were issued to complete the audit from 2003 to the present within 45 to 60 days.
