Tower A has set a new benchmark by completing a RICS-aligned Whole Life Carbon (WLC) assessment. The assessment reveals an embodied carbon intensity of 751 kg CO₂e/sqm — significantly better than the UK’s near-2030 global new-build standard of around 1200 kg CO₂e/sqm. On operational energy efficiency, the building achieves just 67 kWh per sqm per year — far below typical global office averages of ~160 kWh/sqm/year and ahead of leading 2030 targets of 90 kWh/sqm/year for new commercial buildings.

Adding to the campus’s appeal, the University of Liverpool is set to open its first international campus in Alembic City in 2026, bringing world-class education, research, and innovation to the development.
