Every time the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) announces a new lottery, thousands of Mumbaikars rush to check whether this could finally be their opportunity. With demand always exceeding supply, MHADA lotteries—especially those under the Mumbai Board—remain among the city’s most awaited public housing events.

This year too, anticipation was high for the next MHADA announcement, and the wait has now ended. The MHADA Mumbai Board has officially opened a new round of applications, giving citizens a chance to participate in yet another government-backed allocation process.


84 Premises Across Mumbai to Be Auctioned

Unlike its traditional housing lotteries, this announcement concerns the e-auction of 84 non-residential premises located in MHADA-developed layouts across the city. These premises are spread across multiple locations:

  • Mulund – Gavanpada: 04
  • Kurla – Swadeshi Mill: 05
  • Kopri Powai: 15
  • Model Town, Majaswadi Jogeshwari (East): 01
  • Siddharth Nagar, Goregaon: 01
  • Bimbisar Nagar, Goregaon (East): 17
  • Malvani, Malad: 29
  • Charkop: 12

Registration Starts 27 November

The online registration and application process begins on 27 November 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
Eligible applicants can complete the mandatory steps on the official portal eauction.mhada.gov.in until 21 December 2025 at 11:59 p.m.

To participate, applicants must:

  • Register on eauction.mhada.gov.in
  • Fill and submit the online application
  • Upload required documents
  • Pay the prescribed Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) as per the offset price

Applicants must be 18+ years old and must submit a Maharashtra domicile certificate issued after 2018.
