By Varun Singh

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has come out with a public notice. The notice is a warning asking common citizens, residents, and owners of properties to Beware.

TRAI wants the common citizens to beware of fraudulent offers for installing mobile towers on land, buildings, and other properties. These fraud offer lucrative rent for installation, then seek deposit and once the money is transferred they disappear and cannot be located.

A Mobile Tower on a building means good income revenue for the housing society. Which takes care of many needs like building maintenance, and lesser burden on the residents. A lower expenditure for the society members and residents because of mobile tower income is the reason why many buildings these days opt for installation of Mobile Towers.

A mobile tower may be installed by either the Telecom Service Provider or Infrastructure Provider. TRAI says that before entertaining any offer for installation of tower, verify the authenticity from the website.
