Renowned television and film producer Ekta Kapoor, head of Balaji Telefilms, has leased out her premium apartment in Mumbai’s upscale Juhu area for ₹3,16,283 per month.

As per official records from the Department of Registration and Stamps, Maharashtra, the lease agreement was registered on January 31, 2025. The property, located at Flat No. 201, 2nd Floor, Krishna 2 (Ekta House), Plot No. 28, N.S. Road No. 7, Juhu, Mumbai-400049, spans 1,385 square feet and includes a designated parking space.

The lessee, Rohit Goyal, a 45-year-old Juhu resident, has taken the property on rent under the officially registered agreement. The deal required a stamp duty of ₹29,100 and a registration fee of ₹1,000 as per Maharashtra state regulations.

A Strategic Real Estate Move?

Ekta Kapoor, known for her keen business acumen in both entertainment and real estate, has retained ownership of the property while generating substantial rental income. Given Juhu’s status as a prime locality for Bollywood celebrities and industry leaders, this lease underscores the high demand for luxury residences in the area.

While Kapoor has not publicly commented on the transaction, industry sources speculate that the decision could be part of a broader financial strategy as she continues to expand her media empire through Balaji Telefilms and ALTBalaji.
