Indian Developers, Architects win over 46 awards at the event held in Bangkok, Thailand; Felicitated in Mumbai

In a grand event, esteemed winners at the annual Asia Pacific Property Awards 2023-24 were felicitated in Mumbai, as Indian real estate developers and other leading stakeholders from across the country came together to celebrate outstanding achievements in the architecture, interior design, real estate, and property development sectors. The event, as part of the prestigious International Property Awards, was held in Bangkok, Thailand, witnessed Indian developers and architects winning the third-highest number of awards (46) out of a total of 362.  Among them, major Indian real estate developers Brigade Group, Sumadhura Infracon, Tata Realty, as well as leading architect companies including Prashant Sutaria Architecture, Reza Kabul Architects secured accolades for their respective projects, playing a huge contributing hand towards enhancing the reputation of Indian Real Estate at an established, global platform.

Sumadhura Infracon won two awards at the International Property Awards. ‘Sumadhura Capitol Towers’ under the Commercial High-Rise Development – India category and their residential project ‘The Olympus’ won the Residential High-Rise Development – India awards. Both projects, situated in Bangalore and Hyderabad respectively, have set industry benchmarks by revolutionizing modern construction and architecture in their respective regions.

Bharat Kumar Kandukuri, Co-founder and Director, Sumadhura Infracon Pvt. Reza Kabul, President at Reza Kabul Architects, which won an award in the category of ‘New Hotel Construction & Design’ for Taj Skyline, said, “We must remember that buildings last for centuries, they survive the ravages of time, therefore, it is imperative that we leave a behind a legacy that makes people happy long after our time. Our philosophy is to blur the lines of architecture, interior and landscape. We constantly encourage ourselves to unlearn the existing system and learn newer ways of design and innovation – only then can we move forward.”

The Felicitation ceremony was further followed by an extensive networking session amongst all winners and other industry stakeholders.
