Lottery Launch Event on 14 July 2025

On 14 July 2025, the Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of MHADA, Sanjeev Jaiswal (IAS), will inaugurate the “Go-Live” event to start the registration and application process for this large housing lottery. The event will begin at 1:00 PM.


Locations Covered

The Konkan Housing and Area Development Board, a regional unit of MHADA, has announced the sale of:

  • 5,285 flats in various housing schemes in Thane city and district and Vasai (Palghar district)
  • 77 plots available in Oros (Sindhudurg district) and Kulgaon-Badlapur

Distribution of Flats

The flats are categorized into five groups:

  • 565 flats under the 20% Inclusive Housing Scheme
  • 3,002 flats under the 15% Integrated Urban Housing Scheme
  • 1,677 flats from the MHADA Konkan Housing Scheme and scattered tenements “as is where is”
  • 41 affordable flats under the MHADA Konkan Housing Scheme (50% affordability segment)
  • 77 plots available for sale

Important Dates and Application Deadlines

  • Last date to apply online: 13 August 2025, by 11:59 PM
  • Deadline to pay the earnest money deposit (EMD): 14 August 2025, by 11:59 PM
  • Provisional list of accepted applications: Published on 21 August 2025 at 6:00 PM on https://housing.mhada.gov.in
  • Objections and claims on provisional list: Accepted until 25 August 2025, 6:00 PM
  • Final list of eligible applicants: Released on 1 September 2025 at 6:00 PM
  • Date of computerized lottery draw: 3 September 2025, 10:00 AM at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Auditorium, Thane

Applicants will receive lottery results immediately via SMS, email, and the app.


Online Application Platform and Support

  • The lottery registration uses the IHLMS 2.0 online system, starting 14 July 2025 at 1:00 PM.
  • Applicants can download the IHLMS 2.0 app for Android and iOS devices.

Important Instructions for Applicants

Revati Gaikar, Chief Officer of the Konkan Board, emphasized:
✅ The entire process is fully online and transparent.
✅ There is no scope for human intervention in the lottery draw.
✅ MHADA has not appointed any agent, advisor, or property consultant to sell these flats or plots.

Applicants are strongly advised not to fall prey to any middlemen or unauthorized brokers. MHADA and the Konkan Board will not be responsible for any fraud or malpractice.
