Computerized Lottery Draw to be Held on October 11 at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Auditorium, Thane

Mumbai, September 30, 2025:
The Konkan Housing and Area Development Board (Konkan Board) of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has released a revised schedule for its 2025 housing lottery, offering a total of 5,354 flats and 77 plots. The much-anticipated computerized lottery draw will take place on October 11, 2025, at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Auditorium, Thane.

Announcing the update, Mrs. Revati Gaikar, Chief Officer of the Konkan Board, said that the lottery covers multiple housing schemes across Thane city and district, Vasai (Palghar district), Oros (Sindhudurg district), and Kulgaon–Badlapur.

Housing Units Available Under Different Schemes

The Konkan Board lottery is divided into five categories of housing supply:

  • 20% Inclusive Housing Scheme: 565 flats
  • 15% Integrated Township Housing Scheme: 3,002 flats
  • MHADA Konkan Board Housing Scheme & scattered units: 1,746 flats
  • MHADA Konkan Board Housing Scheme (50% affordable units): 41 flats
  • Plots available for sale: 77 plots

Strong Response from Homebuyers

The lottery has attracted significant interest from homebuyers. A total of 1,84,994 applications were submitted, of which 1,58,424 applications included earnest money deposits, making them eligible for consideration.

With housing affordability a critical concern in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and adjoining districts, the Konkan Board lottery has emerged as a key opportunity for thousands of families aspiring to secure a home at government-regulated prices.

The final list of winners will be published online immediately after the draw on October 11, 2025, on MHADA’s official website https://housing.mhada.gov.in
