In July 2024, the Mumbai real estate market witnessed a significant growth of over 20% in property registrations, with the numbers reaching 12,204 till 6 pm on Wednesday compared to 10,221 registrations recorded in the same month last year, as per data from from the office of IGR till 6 pm. June 2024 also saw strong activity, with 11,673 properties registered. Additionally, stamp duty collections experienced a robust increase of more than 27%, rising to ₹1,051 crore in July 2024 from ₹832 crore in July 2023. The collections for June 2024 were ₹1,014 crore, highlighting sustained momentum in the market.
