MahaRERA that grants registration to projects in the state, has till date granted registrations to 27,755 projects/ Of this 6,447 have been completed.

MahaRERA since the year of its inception in 2017, has granted registration to 27,755 projects.

It is mandatory that any builder in its project where he wishes to sell flats, has to register with MahaRERA.

Till date MahaRERA received 27,975 applications of which it granted registration to 27,755 projects.

Of all these projects, a total of 6.447 projects have been completed and form 4 has been updated by the authorized persons of the project informing the authority about completion.

MahaRERA has been brought in by the government so as to bring tansparency in the real estate sector.

Registration of projects is mandatory for any developer to sell his project to a homebuyer.

Homebuyers can approach MahaRERA for any of their grievances related to the registered project.

Till date, MahaRERA has received 13,116 complaints and of this it has passed an order in 8,922 complaints.

Of this 12,355 complaints were of registered projects and remaining 761 were of un registered projects.

MahaRERA has passed 8,173 orders in complaints against registered projects, while the number stands 749 for orders passed in un registered projects.

Meanwhile, there is also a conciliation forum where developers and homebuyers mostly settle matters amicably.

Even here, the numbers are huge, 717 conciliation requests have been received with consent from both parties. Of this, 623 conciliation has been completed.
