Remember Rasna? Yes, the drink that we all were addicted to during our childhood. The company that makes Rasna recently bought an apartment in Juhu.

There would be hardly an Indian who doesn’t have memories attached to Rasna. The drink that has served generations of Indians recently bought a premium apartment.

The apartment is located in one of Mumbai’s upmarket areas Juhu. Juhu houses many Bollywood biggies, industrialists and now Rasna is the newest addition to the area.

The flat was bought by Rasna Pvt Ltd, with its office located in Rasna House, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The apartment bought by the company is located on the fifth floor of the building names Casa Cama Co-operative housing society, Juhu.

According to documents accessed by SquareFeatIndia the deal was signed and registered on July 1, 2021.

The total area of the apartment is 133.82 square meters, which translates into 1,440 square feet. The total consideration paid for the flat is Rs 10 crore.

The per square feet rate of the apartment comes to Rs 69,444. The company even paid a stamp duty of Rs 50 lakh which is 5% of the total sale consideration.

The ready reckoner rate of the flat comes to Rs 5.11 crore, which is close to half of the sale amount that was paid by the company.

An email sent to the CMD of Rasna seeking his comment didn’t get a response, the copy will be updated when he responds.

Rasna is a reputed brand in the instant drinks category and was started three and a half decades ago. It is a family-run business. The company within its start became a household name with its different flavours.

Juhu in the last six months has seen several high-profile transactions. It includes Ajay Devgn buying a bungalow for Rs 47.5 crore.

In December 2020, Sridevi’s daughter and actor Janhvi Kapoor paid Rs 39 crore for an apartment spread over three floors.

Recently Juhu resident and superstar Amitabh Bachchan invested Rs 31 crore in a duplex in Andheri. Sunny Leone would be Bchchan’s neighbour in this building who bought an apartment for Rs 16 crore in the same building.
