Indian singer and television personality Rahul Vaidya, along with his parents Krushna and Geeta Vaidya, has sold two of their residential apartments in the upscale Oshiwara locality of Mumbai for a combined value of ₹5 crore, according to official records accessed on the Maharashtra IGR (Inspector General of Registration) website by Square Yards.

The property transactions were registered in April 2025, and both units are located in Samartha Aangan, a ready-to-move residential complex known for its premium amenities and strategic location near the bustling Lokhandwala Complex.

Details of the Transactions

The first apartment, with a built-up area of approximately 1,102 sq. ft. (102.41 sq. m.), fetched a sale price of ₹3 crore. The sale attracted a stamp duty payment of ₹18 lakh and registration charges of ₹30,000. The Vaidya family had originally purchased this unit in May 2008 for ₹1.01 crore.

The second apartment in the same complex, measuring about 743 sq. ft. (69.05 sq. m.), was sold for ₹2 crore. This transaction also involved a stamp duty payment of ₹12 lakh and registration fees of ₹30,000. The Vaidyas had bought this property in May 2008 for ₹68.3 lakh.

Oshiwara – A Celebrity-Favored Locality

Located in western Mumbai, Oshiwara is a rapidly developing neighborhood offering excellent connectivity via road and the Mumbai Metro. Its proximity to the Lokhandwala Complex makes it a preferred residential choice for professionals and celebrities alike. Notably, Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Sunny Leone, and Sara Ali Khan are also reported to own properties in the area.

Residential Real Estate Supply Rises 12.7% YoY, Premium Segment Grows 14.4%
