Maharashtra Leads India with 50K+ Real Estate Agents; Mumbai & Suburbs Contribute 11,822

Maharashtra tops the country with over 50,000 real estate agents registered under MahaRERA, of which 11,822 belong to Mumbai and its suburbs. With agents from more than 150 cities outside the state also enrolled, Maharashtra continues to lead India’s regulated property market.

MahaRERA Mandates Prominent Display of Project Details in Advertisements, Warns of Penalties

MahaRERA has directed that all housing project advertisements must prominently display the MahaRERA registration number, website, and project’s QR code, in a font size equal to or larger than the project’s contact details. Violators will face penalties.  

6,755 Clear MahaRERA Exam: 84-Year-Old Mumbai Man Among Top Achievers

The results of the 6th MahaRERA real estate agent exam are out, with a record-breaking 6,755 candidates clearing the test. Pune’s Praveen Kamble topped with 98%, while 84-year-old Daulatsinh Gadhvi from Mumbai proved age is no barrier to success. This certification is now mandatory for agents under MahaRERA’s regulations, ensuring better guidance for homebuyers.

MahaRERA Launches New Website MahaCRITI

MahaRERA’s new website, MahaCRITI, went live on September 1, 2024, offering instructional videos and online training to users. The platform aims to streamline real estate processes, with over 2,700 users already engaging, including updates and new registrations by developers and real estate agents. The training has reached around 550 developers, 350 agents, and 250 lawyers, ensuring effective use of the new portal for managing real estate tasks and complaints.
