Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, have rented an apartment in Mumbai’s Juhu area and the flat belongs to Gujarat based Royal Samarjitsinh Gaekwad.

Gaekwad is a former first class cricket player and also is the descendant of the ruling family and the Maharaja of Vadodara in Gujarat. Gaekwad resides in the Laxmi Vilas Palace in Vadodara.

Coming back to the apartment that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have rented it is located in Juhu’s High Tide apartment and is on the fourth floor of the building.

According to documents accessed by SquareFeatIndia.com provided by Zapkey, the rental deal was signed on October 10, while it was registered on October 17, with the registration department.

The area of the apartment is 1,650 sq ft, and for this the monthly rent that Virat and Anushka are paying is Rs 2.76 lakh, whereas a deposit of Rs 7.5 lakh was paid too.

Along with the apartment the couple will also have access to two underground car parks in the building located at Juhu Tara Road.

The current address of the couple is an apartment spread over two floors of Juhu’s Raj Mahal building, the same building, where Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif reside.

Before moving to Juhu, while Anushka stayed in the same vicinity, Virat used to stay in Worli’s Raheja Legend, where he would pay Rs 15 lakh rent per month. The flat in Raheja Legend, where Virat stayed on rent was located on Dr Annie Besant Road, and measured 2,675.07 sq ft carpet area and was on the 40th floor of the building.

Kohli in 2016 had bought a nearly 7,000 sq ft apartment in Omkar 1973, Worli for an amount of Rs 34 crore. He later cancelled this deal and moved to Western Suburbs, with his wife.

On September 1, 2022, Virat and Anushka had purchased a land in Alibaug for Rs 19.24 Crore. The land measures 7.45 acres, where it is said that they will construct a farmhouse.

According to a real estate broker from Juhu this rental deal he says isn’t for the cricketer and his actor wife to move in, the broker says, the couple is happy with the apartment where they currently reside, and this is also just two minutes walking distance from their current home.

A detailed message sent to Virat got us no response.
