Warrants have been issued by MahaRERA against a total of 271 projects amounting to a total of Rs 702 crore.

Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has issued 708 warrants against 271 realty projects in the entire state.

Of the total 271 projects against whom warrants have been issued, majority of them are in Pune where 83 projects have been issued a warrant.

The total amount to be recovered via these warrants is Rs 702.49 crore. The highest amount to be recovered is from Mumbai suburban district office which is Rs 454.40 crore.

Lets have a look at how many warrants were issued against how many projects in the entire state.

Mumbai city saw 24 warrants being issued against 18 projects, the amount to be recovered via these warrants stands at Rs 63.33 crore.

Total 304 warrants were issued against 66 projects in Mumbai suburban district, amount to be recovered is Rs 454.40 crore.

In Pune the highest number of projects were issued a warrant, total 159, warrants were issued against 83 projects, amount to be recovered is Rs 106 crore.

Thane district saw 94 warrants being issued against 50 projects amounting to Rs 45.71 crore to be recovered.

Raigad district saw 40 warrants being issued against 19 projects via which Rs 6.86 crore has to be recovered.

In Alibaug 30 warrants were issued against seven projects from which Rs 5.11 crore has to be recovered.

28 warrants were issued in Palghar against 16 projects and an amount of Rs 8.18 crore.

Aurangabad saw nine warrants being issued against two projects from which 3.45 crore has to be recovered.

Nagpur has total 11 warrants issued against two projects from which Rs 6.27 crore has to be recovered.

Nashik had six warrants issued by MahaRERA against five projects from which Rs 2.21 crore has to be recovered. In Chandrapur, Sindhudurg, and Satara one warrant was issued against one project each and amount of Rs 9 lakh, Rs 5 lakh and Rs 12 lakh has to be recovered respectively.
