Mobile dispensary vans has been started by CREDAI-MCHI along with BMC and other NGOs. In time of this pandemic, the van is expected go ease the burden on government facilities.

Normally builders aren’t considered as someone giving back to the society. However, in the time of pandemic, the apex developer body, CREDAI-MCHI has come on streets to provide help.

Bhartiya Jain Sanghatana, Desh Apnayen & CREDAI MCHI in association with MCGM have taken initiative to start Mobile Dispensary Seva Vans in Mumbai.

They started with five mobile dispensaries, subsequently, it will be scaled to 100 vans within a weeks time.

They have successfully screened and given free medicines to more than 1 lakh patients. Amongst those checked, more than 1000 highly suspected corona patients were referred to government hospitals at their respective places.

Mumbai happens to be one of the most vulnerable city for corona virus and therefore the need to start the Mobile Dispensary Seva in Mumbai.

Nayan Shah, President, CREDAI- MCHI: “We strongly believe that this joint initiative will not only decongest traffic in Mumbai Hospitals but also flatten the Covid 19 curve in the city.”

This mobile van will benefit people living in the slum area and also poor people. And it will help to find as many covid patients as possible says Vallabh Bansali, Founder of Desh Apnae Foundation.

The facility of the mobile van is expected to move from south to suburbs and beyond too.

Dharmesh Jain, Past President, CREDAI MCHI, said, “We are coordinating with all the Corporators to reach to maximum number of people. In the next days, we would be covering Dadar to South Mumbai, Chandivali to Western Suburbs and Matunga, Sion, Chunnabati & Ghatkopar. We would further extend to Mulund, Vikhroli and then to Thane and Kalyan.
