Dilip Vengarkar Foundation via its trustee Dilip Vengsarkar shelled out Rs 6 crore for an apartment in Bandra east. The flat is located on the 10th floor of the building.

Dilip Vengsarkar was a member of the 1983 World Cricket Champion’s team. He is known for his cricket but the veteran cricketer is being written about today for inking a real estate deal.

Dilip Vengsarkar Foundation via its trustee Dilip Vengsarkar, bought an apartment on the 10th floor of a building named Kalpataru Sparkle in Bandra east. For which he paid a whopping Rs 6.05 crore.

The deal was inked by Vengsarkar on July 16 as a trustee of the Dilip Vengsarkar Foundation. The building is located in MIG colony of Bandra east.

According to documents provided by Indextap, a stamp duty of Rs 30.25 lakh was paid for the registration of the property. The flat measures 120.44 square meters, which translates into 1,296 square feet. The sellers have provided their Vadodara address in documents.

Along with the apartment, Vengsarkar Foundation will also have access to two basement car parking spaces.

Vengsarkar has a plush apartment in Sportsfield, located at Worli Seaface, which is an iconic address.

A detailed message sent to Vengsarkar seeking his comment got us no response. 

In May 2021, cricketer Rohit Sharma sold his Lonavala Bungalow for Rs 5.25 crore. The bungalow measured 6329 sqft and the sale was registered on June 1, 2021.
