Actor Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli have invested a huge sum of rupees in buying a land in Alibaug. The deal was concluded on August 30, whereas the registration took place on September 1.

According to documents accessed by SquareFeatIndia, two different registrations were carried out for two land parcels while, the first one measures 1.034 hectare, which translates into 2.54 acres, whereas the second land parcel measures 1.99 hectares which measures 4.91 acres. The total land parcel when added comes to 7.45 acres

The amount paid for the purchase of the land is Rs 19.24 crore, and the land is located in Zirad village of Alibag taluka in Raigad district. The documentation took place in regards to the property on August 30. whereas the registration was carried out on September 1.

A stamp duty of Rs 1.15 crore was paid for the registration of the land deal. The seller includes two parties, the first party is Sonali Rajput whereas the second one is Samira Habitats. On behalf of Virat and Anushka, Virat’s brother Vikas signed the documents. Virat is currently playing the Asia Cup in Dubai.

According to reports, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma will be building a plush farmhouse on this piece of land located in Alibaug.

Alibaug has become the new hotspot for celebrities, while recently Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone made their investment in this area, various other big names have also invested in Alibaug.

A detailed message sent to Virat Kohli seeking his comment got us no response.
