Builders body CREDAI, has asked developers to not depend on Chinese Imports instead promotes Swadeshi products for real estate industry.

While the Indo-China relations are not at its best, and demand to boycott Chines products is on a rise.

The apex body of builders, CREDAI has asked all its members and allied industries to reduce their dependence on Chinese imports.

In a tweet CREDAI appealed builders not to depend upon #Chinese imports and encouraged the use of #Swadeshi products while marking a #tribute to the #GalwanValley martyrs, and standing in #solidarity with the nation.

The move was as a mark of tribute to the Galwan Vallery martyrs at the Indo-China border. Brave Indian soldiers made the supreme sacrifice during at the border protecting the interest of India.

The appeal was not only for developers, but the builders body also asked its allied industries for support.

CREDAI appealed to all the 250 allied industries which are linked to the #realestate sector to manufacture more products locally, thus generating #employment opportunities and supporting the #economy.

Satish Magar, CREDAI President, said: “We appeal to our member developers not to depend on #Chinese goods & embrace ”#Swadeshi” way of life and business.”

In India the anti-China sentiment is on a rise and many people are participating in the same. Twitter is abuzz with the #BoycottChinaProducts hashtags by several Indians.

Many Indians are upset the way China has been behaving for the last few months. Firstly many believe the the country hid details on COVID 19 and now a dispute at border.

Furthering the same, Indians at various levels have started boycotting Chinese products to mark their protest against China.

This move by the builders body will help boost the local businesses which is the need of the hour.
