Under the Mega Housing Scheme 2022 of 5730 tenements, now additional tenements are being made available for sale at various nodes in Navi Mumbai to add color to the lives of common citizens while celebrating the Holi Festival. CIDCO has decided to make a total of 6,508 number of tenements available for sale through this scheme. This will make it possible for more and more citizens to take advantage of this scheme and fulfil their dream of owning a home in Navi Mumbai.

The housing scheme of 5,730 houses was launched by CIDCO on January 26, 2022. Under this scheme, 5,730 tenements were made available to the economically weaker sections and general category citizens in the rapidly developing Taloja Node of Navi Mumbai. Apart from these tenements, CIDCO has now decided to provide some additional tenements from Dronagiri, Ghansoli, Kalamboli, Kharghar and Taloja nodes of Navi Mumbai under this scheme. As a result, a total of 1905 tenements have been made available under this scheme for the economically weaker sections of which 181 in Dronagiri, 12 in Ghansoli, 48 in Kalamboli, 129 in Kharghar and 1535 in Taloja. Also a total of 4,603 tenements are available for general category, of which 241 at Dronagiri, 22 at Kalamboli, 88 at Kharghar and 4252 at Taloja. Thus, a total of 6,508 tenements have been made available.

All the process from registration to lottery of scheme will be done online and for this the website www.lottery.cidcoindia.com has been made available. On this website, the applicant has to register application, submit the documents and pay the deposit. However, applicants will not have the option to select a location (node). CIDCO will distribute the tenement of any of the above places to the applicants by computerized draw.

After declaring the results of the first draw, if tenements from the statutory reserved categories i.e. SC/ST/NT/DT remain unsold, then computerized draw will be drawn immediately for the second lot and these tenements will be allotted to the remaining eligible applicants from statutory reserved category. If the tenements reserved for journalists, disabled, ex-servicemen, state government employees, Navi Mumbai project affected, Mathadi workers, religious minorities remain unsold after the first draw, the second draw will be drawn and these tenements will be allotted to the remaining eligible applicants in these categories as well as general category.

The other terms and conditions of the housing scheme will remain the same and all the procedures related to the scheme will be carried out as per the pre-arranged schedule. CIDCO has appealed to the citizens to avail maximum benefits of these additional flats.
