CIDCO on the Republic Day announced the lottery for a total 5,730 homes, know all the details here.

This is something for which many were waiting, finally the lottery had been announced by CIDCO.

The lottery will comprise of a total 5,730 homes, and the process begun from Republic Day.

Online application registration for this scheme begun from January 26, 2022. Under this scheme, 5,730 houses (flats) have been made available at Taloja Node in Navi Mumbai for the economically weaker sections and general category citizens.

Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, Vice President and Managing Director, CIDCO, while informing about the scheme, said that it was providing 5,730 affordable houses in the fast growing and well connected Taloja Node in Navi Mumbai and appealed to citizens to take advantage of this scheme.

Out of the 5,730 houses provided under the scheme, 1,524 houses are available under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for the economically weaker sections and the remaining 4,206 houses are for the general category. Applicants from economically weaker sections are eligible Rs. 2.5 lakh grant under the PMAY scheme.

All the procedures of this scheme will be carried out in a transparent online manner for which the website https://lottery.cidcoindia.com has been made available. Applications for this scheme will be valid from 26 January 2022 to 24 February 2022.

Online applications can be submitted from 27 January 2022 to 25 February 2022. The online deposit can be made between January 27, 2022 to February 25, 2022.

The computerized lottery of the scheme will take place on March 11, 2022. Eligibility criteria related to the scheme, details of houses, schedule etc. Detailed information is available on the website.

Taloja Node is one of the fastest growing nodes in Navi Mumbai. The Mumbai-Pune Highway, Railways and CIDCO’s Metro Project have given this node better connectivity. The Metro depot is at Taloja and this node will also be connected to CBD Belapur via Metro.

Some of the areas in this node are reserved for schools, degree colleges, places of worship, hospitals, community centers, hostels etc. Some areas have been identified by CIDCO for commercial activities near metro railway stations. This will create a lot of commercial opportunities in the Taloja node.

“With affordable housing, connectivity, employment, commercial projects, Taloja Node will be a good option for living in Navi Mumbai,” read a statement released by CIDCO.
