Labourhome, a provider of workforce solutions, has played a crucial role in the construction of Ola Electric’s largest two-wheeler manufacturing facility in Hosur, Asia’s largest electric vehicle (EV) factory. This landmark project not only advances India’s EV industry but also underscores Labourhome’s dedication to improving the lives of construction workers and their families.

Labourhome was pivotal in the project, managing the deployment of over 700 skilled workers and contributing more than 240,000 man-days of employment through its collaboration with the EPC Construction Agency appointed by Ola Electric. This substantial contribution reflects Labourhome’s commitment to providing stable, meaningful job opportunities for large-scale infrastructure projects.

In addition to facilitating employment, Labourhome extended its support to workers’ welfare. The company provided secure accommodations and healthcare services, directly benefiting 700 construction worker families. This comprehensive support was integral to the success of the project and the well-being of those involved.

Jaishankar, Project Director for the EPC Construction Agency, praised Labourhome’s contributions: “The Ola Electric project is among the largest EV two-wheeler factories in Asia, and its successful completion in record time is a testament to our partners’ dedication. Labourhome’s management of the workforce was crucial, significantly contributing to the project’s timely completion through their skilled labor and focus on worker welfare.”

R. Vinoth Kumar, Founder of Labourhome, expressed pride in the company’s involvement: “We are honored to contribute to this transformative project and improve the lives of 700 construction worker families. Our work with Ola Electric highlights our capacity to manage large-scale workforce deployments and our commitment to enhancing workers’ lives.”

Labourhome’s effective workforce management played a key role in maintaining the project’s timeline and efficiency. By ensuring a steady flow of skilled labor and focusing on worker welfare, Labourhome helped avoid delays and ensured the smooth execution of critical project phases. One notable impact includes the story of Ravi, a construction worker whose improved financial stability allowed him to provide education for his children for the first time.

Labourhome’s role in the Ola Electric two-wheeler factory project not only underscores its capability in supporting major infrastructure projects but also highlights its dedication to improving the livelihoods of workers and their families.
