Kangana had bought the Pali Hill Bungalow located in Bandra in 2017. She opened a production house Manikarnika Films and performed the Puja on Makarsankranti.

Kangana Ranaut on Wednesday inaugurated her studios Manikarnika Films at Bandra. The bungalow was bought by the actor in September 2017 for a whooping Rs 20.7 crore.

Her sister, Rangoli Chandel made the world aware about the inauguration via her tweet.

Rangoli tweeted a picture of sister Kangana performing the puja along with her brother Akshit. 

The tweet read, “Today we inaugurated Kangana’s studio, Manikarnika films Kangana will work as a producer and director and Aksht will look after legal and finance departments he studied film production in New York film academy.” (Sic)

Ironically even in 2017, when Kangana wanted to keep the purchase of the bungalow secret, her sister had tweeted about it.

Rangoli while replying to a tweet by Kamal R Khan had mentioned about Kangana buying the bungalow. 

The bungalow is located on Nargis Dutt Road, and it is surrounded by homes of other bigwigs of the film industry.

The production house is a ground plus three-storey structure. The total area of the bungalow measures 3,075 Sq ft built-up. Kangana paid close to Rs 67,000 per Sq ft for the bungalow.

The actor even had paid Rs 1.03 crore as stamp duty. The bungalow, earlier was occupied by a playschool, and it is part of Chetak Co-operative Housing Society on Nargis Dutt road, Bandra.

She when bought the bungalow even received a car parking space that measures 565 Sq ft. This normally is the size of a huge 1BHK in any locality of Mumbai.

On the work front Kangana will be seen next in Ashwiny Iyer Tewari’s Panga. She also has been shooting for a Tamil/Hindi bilingual Thalaivi, where she will play the former chief minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa.
