Singer and television personality Rahul Krishna Vaidya, known for his runner-up finish on Indian Idol Season 1, has recently acquired a luxury apartment in Mumbai worth ₹9 crore. The property is located in the DLH Signature project, developed by DLH Group, which offers high-end 3, 4, and 5 BHK residences within a sprawling 1.25-acre campus. The registration documents, reviewed by Square Yards, confirm the purchase, which took place in October 2024.

The apartment is situated in Bandra West, a prestigious neighbourhood that has become a hotspot for celebrity real estate in recent months. Bollywood stars like Sunil Shetty, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, as well as sports icons such as KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty, have also invested in properties in this area. Bandra’s unique appeal stems from its historical connections to the film industry and sports figures, fostering an exclusive community. The area’s proximity to film studios, business hubs, and the airport further enhances its appeal for entertainment professionals.

The 3,110 sq. ft. apartment (approximately 288.92 sq. m) boasts a built-up area of 3,422 sq. ft. (317.93 sq. m). The transaction also included a stamp duty payment of ₹56.37 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000.

Rahul Vaidya, who began his career as a child artist and has since become a household name through music shows like Indian Idol and reality shows like Bigg Boss 14 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, remains a prominent figure in India’s entertainment industry. His latest appearance on Laughter Chef in 2024 further solidified his popularity, making him a versatile and in-demand performer across various genres.
