While everything related to Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) is in digital form, but still there are times, when the common homebuyer is looking for someone to talk to.

There are problems which a common homebuyer faces and is unable to find the solution for them online. MahaRERA has even given the FAQs on its website, which normally answers almost all the question.

But still it decided to come out with a citizen helpline call centre.

Accordingly MahaRERA issued a circular dated August 25.

The circular is in regards of launch of MahaRERA Citizen Call Centre / Helpdesk.

According to the circular, “Section (3) of the Act mandates the authority to operationalize a web based online system for submitting applications for registration of projects. Accordingly, MahaRERA has digitized all its services including Project Registration, Agent Registration, Complaints Management, Project Extensions, Project Corrections etc.”

MahaRERA had established in-house Helpdesk to handhold citizens and resolve queries related to various services. “However, there was a need to enhance the capacity and systems of the Help Desk System,” says the circular.

Therefore, MahaRERA has established a Toll-Free and a fully equipped Citizen Helpline. Citizen Helpline or call centre shall function from 07:00 am to 11:00 pm – except on Government Holidays & Sundays.

Citizens can call on following numbers:
o Toll Free: 1800 2103770
o PRI Line:022 – 69157100

Adv Sunil Kewalramani said, “As MahaRERA has digitized all its services including project registration, agent registration, complaints management, project extensions, project corrections, etc. So now citizens/state holders can contact on the Toll Free number and PRI number in order to resolve their queries. It is a pro-active step taken by MahaRERA which needs to be appreciated.”
