Pujit Aggarwal’s property in Worli has been put up for auction by ICICI. The total oustsanding is of Rs 12.80 crore which if Pujit fails to repay by Feb 27, then he loses the property.

Pujit Aggarwal at one point in time was amongst the topmost developers of Mumbai. But he also landed in trouble. Even in past, his properties were put on auction.

Today he has time till February 27, to repay an outstanding loan amount of Rs 12.80 crore to ICICI. 

If Pujit fails to do so, he will lose his prime Worli property.

The detail of the secured asset of Pujit taken over by ICICI is a first floor flat in the building named The View.

The prime property is located on Dr Annie Besant Road, Worli. Pujit’s property measures 3095 sq ft super built-up.

The reserve price for the property is Rs 7.80 crore and the earnest money deposit for bidders to participate in the auction is Rs 78 lakh.

The online auction shall be held on February 28, 12 noon onwards.

A notice issued by ICICI Home Finance states, “The mortgagors are given a last chance to pay the dues along with interest till 4 pm of February 27, else these secured assets will be sold.”

Last year Pujit Aggarwal of Orbit Corporation sold his former headquarters in the same building The View at Worli for Rs 21.60 crore. 

The buyer was a top Mumbai-based restaurateur Riyaaz Amlani whose brand Social is one of the most popular names in the cafe and bar segment in the city. 

The deal comprised of two flats — flat number 4 on the first floor which had a built-up area of over 3900 sq ft, the other was flat number 2 which had a built-up area of 1950 sq ft. 

With the first flat, Amlani got two car parking spaces in the building, while the second flat got him one car park. 

The registered area in the documents shows that Amlani bought a total of 543.68 sq mts.
