The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has announced its much-awaited Pune Board Housing Lottery 2025, offering 4,186 homes across Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, PMRDA, Solapur, Kolhapur, and Sangli. For the first time in such large numbers, nearly 2,000 flats will be sold on a First-Come, First-Serve (FCFS) basis, giving homebuyers an assured route to ownership if they act quickly.

First-Come, First-Serve Homes

Out of the total homes available, 1,982 flats will be allotted on FCFS basis:

  • 1,683 flats under the MHADA Housing Scheme (FCFS basis)
  • 299 flats under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) [PMAY-U] on FCFS basis

Under this model, the homes will be booked in the order applications are received. Once the quota is filled, no further applications will be entertained for those flats. This eliminates the uncertainty of waiting for a draw and rewards faster applicants with a direct allotment.

Interested buyers can apply only through MHADA’s official portals:

Flats Under Lottery System

The remaining 2,204 flats will be allotted through MHADA’s traditional computerized lottery:

  • 864 flats under the 15% Comprehensive Housing Scheme (PMRDA area)
  • 3,222 flats under the 20% Comprehensive Housing Scheme (Pune Municipal Corporation, Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation & PMRDA area)

This ensures a transparent draw where eligible applicants get a fair chance to own a home.

  • First-Come, First-Serve homes for those who act fast and want certainty.

This mix makes the Pune lottery one of the most significant affordable housing opportunities of the year, covering both urban and semi-urban centers across western Maharashtra.
